Can I buy property in Portugal as a foreigner?
Yes — Portugal is one of the most welcoming countries in Europe for foreign buyers. There are no restrictions on ownership. I'll guide you through the fiscal number (NIF) process and everything else you need to get started.
Do I need to visit Portugal before buying?
You can handle many steps remotely, but I strongly recommend at least one visit for the inspection and to experience the neighbourhood in person. When you're here, I'll be right beside you.
How long does the buying process take?
Typically 2-4 months from finding the property to completion. This includes legal due diligence, the promissory contract (CPCV), and the final deed signing at the notary. I keep things moving and make sure nothing stalls.
